OMG what a nighmare 24 hours

In a very short story as it won't let me paste onto here.

Ev fell on MOnday falling out of a laundry basket into the tv unit and cracked the back of his head open so we had to rush to a&e leaving Al with a neighbour.

4hrs 40 mins after getting to hosp we were admitted to a ward as Evan was due to have surgery teh next day to stitch it up.

On Tuesday Ev was gowned up ready for surgery and they changed their minds :)

Then changed it back again :(

Then back again :) and we could go home!!

Monday 17th January

Doing todays post early so I don't forget!

A busy morning again Got Ev up and fed and dressed for school, then woke Al up and coat on and in his carseat in 2 mins from waking up bless him! Ty Linda as Ev calls her took us to drop Ev Back home to feed Al then the Vicar came to see us at 10 then had to get Ev by 11!

As it was dry as soon as we got home I put Al in the stroller and took both boys to the park. Going to really miss having the park that close when we move :( Al LOVED the swings! It was his 1st trip to the park to play rather than just sit in the swing/carrier!

We didn't stay long as despite taking a towel to dry the slide Ev had a wet bum!!

Got home put Al to bed, stripped a wet Ev then did painting with Ev, we needed to make a card for my Aunties 60th and made some spare for when birthdays come up!

Then food and now I am on here haha!!

Scary thought when we move we will be cancelling Sky as think we get free view, whilst it will save money I'm going to loose a load of films off Sky Planner, so going to have to buy them. Especially the Disney ones. Beauty and the Beast, Sword in the Stone, Robin Hood, Disney the 3 Musketeers and Gruffallo at the very least.

Best start buying and saving. I also want/need to buy Ev a book on moving house aswell as 1 on Christening so we can talk to him about Als Christening. I also want to get presents for the Godparents.

Sunday 16th January

Last lot of catching up!

A crazy day I didn't stop between cooking, cleaning, cleaning the fish tank, doing the Christening guest list and designing the invite, then selecting pics for it so clever Lou (Als future GodMam can make it for us. And speaking to the Vicar and the Rugby Club to confirm both.I also ordered carpet samples, looked at chairs and curtains online. And started sorting b&b for Lou when she stays!!

Think the next upto 6 months are going to be crazy!! Though will be fab for teh boys to have more room, well Al can finally get his own room yaaaay!

Not an exciting pic but the layout for the Christening invite. Took ages to come up with a N letter I had to do it as my facebook status! Can

't wait to see teh finished invite!

Saturday 15th Jan

Still catching up

We went to see the new house again, needs more work than we first thought, but nothing too major. Though looks like we need to get the electrics done :( House is lovely though a proper family home. With lots of potential. We can't wait to get in and get it all sorted and make it ours!

Went to Tesco where Tace "how do Tesco's still hire me" Richards!! shamed me. I still wear teh coat I had when pregnant with Al, as its warm and comfy. Its a swing coat so a bit wide. But he shouted at me across an aisle "Are you pregnant again?" then to a colleague "Does she look pregnant!"

Tace revenge is mine!!!!

Friday 14th January

A fairly quiet day after the crazy last few days!!

Rob had a half day to take me and the boys to Grans for the night as he had his belated Christmas do in Swansea. We had to go via Swansea to get my new glasses. Also Lush had their new products in for Valentines day so I HAD to go get them!!

We have got in the habit that when Rob goes out I stay at Grans with the boys. Gran gets company as do I, and teh boys love seeing Gran.

Pic is of Ev dressed up, not that it lasted long. We have never found a proper dressing up outfit for him before as they tend to start at age 3 so drown him!! This is age 1-3, so no doubt Al will be in it soon!!

13th January Thursday!!! D-Day

Again backdated

We got up got Ev to Winks and then ran around doing last minute cleaning and feeding and cleaning Al.

Debra and Mr Morgan got to the house about 10.30 he had a buyer for his house so we took this as a positive sign.

He was a long time upstairs so we were a bit nervy as to what he thought. When we were chatting he knows the area really well amd knew most of te eneighbours or at least the families of them.

It was a very long day between the house visit then about 4 phone calls. I probably did the estate agents heads in but I couldn't cope with not knowing what was happenning!! I think I paced about 5 miles around the house waiting to hear!!

Just before dinnertime we were in the position that he had offered us 65k for our house 15k below the asking price! We knew we needed at least 75k to get our house at 120k so had to hope that the sellers would accomodate us.

News came in that before this offer was made they had agreed to 112, we really needed them to agree to 110 to keep the same margins. So it was a long few hours to see if they would agree. And Debra had viewings to do aswell.

At 5pm we had the call that Janice and Stewart had agreed to the 110k and we had the house subject to contracts!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY

12th Jan Wednesday

These are all backdated due to a crazy few days.

It was just a usual but very wet and miserable Thursday, until at 16.20 the phone rang....

I had already had 3 calls from some numptie in a call centre wanting Mr Owens to do a life survey, so I answered the phone a bit impatiently (plus I was feeding Al at the time!)

But it was Debra from Clee's estate agents wanting to know if she could bring someone aorund to see the house the following day. We agreed a time then PANIC set in. The house was like a bombsite (it prob wasn't that bad, but lots of clutter)

Rob got home with Ev about 20 mins after and sat beeping the jorn at us, I was screaming at him to get the hell in teh house and him and Ev were laughing in the car.

Rob did some cleaning while I ran around like a headless chicken trying to watch the kids and tidy. Then Rob watched teh kids so I could concentrate!!

It was one quicker than we thought, but a acrzy few hours!!!

11th January Tuesday

Oops I'm getting a bit forgetfull at this!

So what did I do yesterday? Not much. Lots of Al cwtching and feeding him, and cleaning the house. Next door is having building work done, so my head was banging.

Didn't have a driving lesson, as he had to take a pupil on a test she failed :(

Sat and munched loads of chocolate to help with previously said headache.

Al was crawling everywhere, this pic is of him finding the wine again! He crawled straight up to it!

Posted my mobile off as still bust, so hopefully will have it back in a week. Went for a walk to Co-Op tehn around teh block to get some fresh air, and more importantly some bananas for Alun!!

10th January Monday

A horrible start to the day, I dropped Evan off at school, and when he realised I was leaving him he was hysterically crying, and they had to peel him off me. He was fine within a minute of me leaving, but was horrible to see.

Other than that a nice quiet day, Ev wasn't as crazy as he has been the last few days which was a nice relief!!

Alun has started dropping his 2nd afternoon nap, think he just wants to play!! Especially if his brother is around.

I need eyes in the back of my head now with him. I turned around and found him helping himself to the wine in the kitchen!!

He sat for ages watching the washing machine today especially when it was on spin. Its the best I have seen him sit. My not so little cutie pie!!

On a grrr note my mobile phone backed in today. Started being very odd and just scrolling through my contacts. So its back to my old phone til they sort it.

9th January

Wheres the year going already! Or have I said that before?

Happy 40 month birthday Evan tee hee!!!

3 months tomorrow its Aluns Christening! Think we have his outfit today from Tesco, just want a shirt to go under rather than the t-shirt. Just my outfit to sort now, something to go with Al in purple/brown and Ev in blue/brown.

As promised to Evan we went fish shopping today to Wyevale. We wanted 4 fish as have a fairly big tank, but Mr arseittude said we could only have 2 in that tank, and only 1 at a time!! Grrrrr

We had promised Evan fish so couldn't just leave and go somewhere else, not with an Alun to feed anyway!!

So 1 fish for now and will get another 3 either in the shop in Ystrad or in Neath.

Ev has named this fish Shrek the Fish! haha

8th January Saturday

My first child free day since Alun was born!!

Rob had both boys so I could go to town shopping and for lunch with my Mam and get my eyes tested.

HATED town, was far too busy and messy with the sales, hardly got anything I wanted as was just full of crap!!!

Lunch at No Sign Bar was good though, though not liking the chillis in the burger!

Had my eyes tested I thought they had gone really bad as squinting a lot and having headaches. Turns out they have only slightly changed in nearly 2 years. Just the minimum change. He said that maybe my glasses are just scratched. Hmmm a 7 month who likes to wrench my glasses off my face and eat them!! haha! Then was the hard job of picking the frames. After trying about 3 frames on I was fed up!! But got there in the end.

Really missed the boys, and think if I went childfree again I wouldn't waste it shopping!! cinema maybe?? The last time I went was Pirates of the Caribbean 3, when I was pregnant with Evan!!

The pic I have uploaded is of a photo album I bought today. One of my BC friends who had a little boy Zane around the same time Evan was born, was diagnosed with leukemia just before Christmas. Along with all the BC girls we wanted to do something to show Angela we were thinking of her and keep her positive. I suggested everyone sending me a 6x4 card with a message on and I would out them all in an album for her. We did this when Leanne and Karen got married and it was lovely.

I chose this album as I thought the butterflies were a good symbol of hope. Thinking of Angela everyday, and hoping all our positive wishes get her through this xx

7th January Friday freaky Friday

OMG what a crazy day, Evan was INSANE!! not really naughty just a complete monkey, really loud and silly. I nearly took him to Tiddlywinks for some peace!!

When Rob came home he took Ev to get his haircut, and I took Al to by stones for the fishtank, so we can set it up again.

Other than that a quiet day!

Another lazy day with my gorgeous little man. Hes changing by the day. And as you can see will now sit on his own yaay!

Though he prefers to be crawling and investigating.

Especially if he can chew wires or pickpocket Mammys bag!!

Ev and Rob were meant to be cutting a haircut today but Ev fell and hit his head which brought on a RAS :(

He came home looking very pale and scared bless him. It is awful to see.

He is very resilient though and after chocolate and cwtches he bounced back.

We phoned Uh Moo before bathing him and he was on speaker phone. As I was stripping Ev he picked up my phone and shouted look at my willy Uh Moo!!

Then his jumper got stuck on his bed, so me and Rob were trying to pull it off. I pulled Rob won and I landed up sitting in the bath!! Ev was sat on Robs lap and found this so funny that he peed on Robs leg!!

5th January

A lazy day again as feeling blagh with asthma. Lots of lovely time with Al as Ev is in Winks and school. He started big class today as went up from Clych to Meithrin.

You soon realise how much noise he makes when he comes home, and shatters your peace and quiet!!

After the nightmare of bedtime yesterday he went off straight away tonight. Though bathtime was a total different matter! he was a LOON!! totally mad. I said 1 min and you're out of teh bath. 10 mins later me and Rob were trying to wrestle him out the bath. We would get hi out and he would dive head first back in!! I grabbed him and my head went under and he took my glasses. Lots of funny pics.

4th January

Oops forgot to post yesterday.

It got chaotic with fighting to get Ev to bed, making food and we had sad news that my Grandma had died. R.I.P Grandma.

I mainly had a relaxing day yesterday as Ev went with his Nan.

Drivin lesson went really well yaaay. Just need to crack on with doing my theory then who knows I maybe driving soon!! Fingers and toes crossed!!

Today (well yesterdays pic) Is me and Ev he found it funny for us all to wear the L plate. Not that you can really see it in theis pic.

3rd January

A nice quiet day in before Rob is backj in work, and Evan is back in school booo hiss!

Lots of playing games and doing jigsaws. Evan is really loving jigsaws. I was amazed as he did a giant hungry caterpillar jigsaw today. And its not the easiest jigsaw as lots of green in it!

Just gets akward doing jigsaws when Alun wants to crawl around eating all the pieces!

Another important lesson from today, make sure you check the toy truck before bed!! Todays contents were mini weetabix, sausage rolls, cracker toys, and a dirty (wet) nappy! Little monkey!!

Back on a driving lesson tomorrow. I've had almost a month off what with the snow and holidays, last lesson was 13th Dec. Hope i remember what to do!! xx

Dinner at Gans 2nd January 2011

As Danty & Uh Moo are still down we all had a yummy dinner at Gans. Thanks for cooking Michael was v yum.

Lots of game playing with hungry dinos, jenga and tumblinbg monkeys. good fun without having to have the tv on!! and all joining in together.

Both boys really love their Gan.

Struggling t choose a pic as got so many good ones from today.

Have chosen one of us setting off Chinese lanterns. We set off 3 on New Years day by the river. and then 2 in Grans garden. Sian and Gran and Alun watched from inside.

As we set the 2nd one off I sent wishes and love to a very bright star in the sky Eliza Peggy Garlick. My friends little baby who very sadly died in October. She will always have a special place in my heart. R.I.P fly high and shine bright Eliza xxxx

Happy New Year Blwyddyn Newydd Dda

Not a very exciting start to 2011. Sian And Michael aka Danty and Uh Moo stayed the night. Think we all struggled up to see the new year in haha!

Currently making frog in the hole with danty, while Alun sleeps and the boys visit Mamgu.

Nain is due to visit at 12.32!! Not a minute before!!

Not much plans for today, 15 thank you cards have been made from the boys using their handprints, just itching to get the tree down now and all the toys away. But no energy!!

I never thought it would take so long to get both boys to pose for a pic with the signs!! The 2011 is using their footprints

Plans for 2011 firstly that EVERYONE stays healthy and positive, we sell the house, I pass my driving test. the Home Office get their butts in gear so Danty and Uh Moo get married. Oh and that I blog later then Feb 2nd!!!
